So I've said somewhere in a post how I doubt anything is real even when signs show otherwise. This, once again is related to my gamer girl, friend (not girlfriend).. that I really like.

Ok so I have to admit it was rather a positive thing that first thing this morning she had already sent me a message and was waiting for me to get online... Anyway so I was happy about that.

Then i made the mistake as to view her raptr profile "about me" section. Ok so I know that she hates it when guys are all sexual with her and overly flirtatious, clearly showing exactly why they are interested in her. She's told me about these "troll like creatures" online. She hates that.

But upon reading her profile, I focused on the words, "I'm not looking for love, especially not over the internet" D: And I thought, maybe this means me too... doubts... once again.. panic.

Do you think that I should be worried?

I don't think you should be worried necessarily though I can see why her profile statement would concern you. I would be a little disheartened too but keep in mind that romance often just happens whether someone is looking for it or not.

In my own life there have been multiple occasions where I've told myself that I'd like to remain single and then a month later I'll start to develop feelings for someone new just because I couldn't help it. When someone says they are not looking for love it doesn't mean that it can't happen. You can still meet the right person even if you're not looking for them, those romantic feelings can take over and then all that "I'm not looking for love" stuff goes out the window.

All I'm saying is don't give up just yet. Have you told her how you feel?

Not 'looking' for love...could be literal. Ties, into that 'happy single', thread, recently participated in.

It's harder, I find, when there's been deep wounds, from pasts, to know if it's something worth continuing on it's course, to see what happens next, and when to walk away, to not get burned.

Like that song, 'gotta know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em...'

I have in so many words, yes. We flirt and I've told her so much about why I like her, including how smart, fun and entertaining she is to me, and mentioned that I'm very attracted to her... so I'm sure she knows for the most part.

And thank you. I think I jsut wanted to hear that from someone else's perspective even though it was already in mind.

As I've said elsewhere, I know at least she finds me sexy.. Among other things but I'm always doubting.

Thank you. First, I have been chatting with her for a couple months but that does entail take into account that it has been a lot of time spent together too.. so not like IRL when you dont' typically spend the entire day with soemone new.. we've spent stretches of 4 -12 hours together at a time. Not constantly talking but always on and she always notes when I go off line

Another thing that seemed kind of telling was she mentioned my boys. She was saying something about how "awesome" I am and said "ask your boys, I bet they'd say you are awesome" but that was not the important part. She followed that with "do your boys know about me?"

As a gamer girl myself, I think she's just trying to be proactive in her about me section. She's already told you she hates creepers, and there is a certain population of gamers that get pretty harassing if you are a gamer that is also female. I don't think you should worry about it at all. She's just trying to dissuade the creeper trolls, I think.

yeah I've heard her comment on them more than a few times. Unbelievable how people are in gaming online. No shame, no respect for women -- or guys for that matter. I pick my online gamer friends very carefully and I'm not even a female. :/

This is tricky. I think the reason you're freaking-out is because she is more relaxed about the relationship than you are, and you can see that, and so it makes you have doubts. It doesn't mean she likes you less than you like her.

That said, it would drive me nuts not to know where someone else stood as well. Maybe you should do yourself a favor, and tell her about how you really feel. Try not to worry about rejection (easier said than done). I'm putting myself in your shoes, and I don't think I would be able to handle this day in, and day out. Just tell her! Let the truth be known!

But yes, there will come a time when I really need to do that but I just really want to be cautious not only for the rejection factor but I do like what we have already and I'm afraid to ruin it.

If it is to be, it will happen, I believe it, as long as I refrain from doing anythin in the midst of a panic that I will regret and push her away inadvertently.

Drawing I did yesterday for my friend I've been speaking of. She spent most of the entire time watching my stream as the drawing unfolded and came to be. Several hours of course. then we played smoe Borderlands 2 for awhile

She even made a joke that was mildly sexual. I was jumping and landed on her head in game for a few seconds and went "wtf?" and she said "I was under you" She paused and then said "that juts sounds wrong XD" I replied "I wasn't going to say anything." LOL
