Indeed, that is what I have observed through my life trip till now.

Good, kind, generous and straight forward people always suffer, always got hurt and maltreated.

While selfish, mean, evil, malicious and rake people - whose most of the times wear the mask of kindness and pretend selflessness got many lovers, many friends, live happy and very rare to get hurt.

There are many details I can mention regarding that subject but this is the brief story.

Should the nice person got punished for being good? I am really astonished about this life.

This is the story of my life. The problem with me though is that I'm a people pleaser, and I don't say that proudly. I don't like anyone being upset or uncomfortable and go out of my way to help them if they are. I'd like to say that I'm a very kind, caring, generous person. Unfortunately I also dislike confrontation and occasionally I'll come across a person that tries to take advantage of my kindness. This'll sometimes result in me rolling over to prevent any altercations.

I've been working on being more assertive because I'm tired of being a pushover. Sometimes I'll find myself backing down when someone tests me, but I'm slowly starting to change. Us kind-hearted people definitely dont deserve to to punished, but unfortunately there are those that will try to mistreat us, so I believe that we have to put a little more effort than usual to prevent ourselves from becoming the world's doormat.

I'm sorry you feel this way. This is all about perception. The fact is that all people have good and bad things happen and when we see someone we deem as "bad" having some success the tendency is we think "they don't deserve success!" and ruminating and focusing on people that are hurtful or bad in whatever way makes us see only that.

Fact is that good things happen to good people too. Try to divert your focus to the good things going on with everyone and don't judge their deserving of good happening because of some mistake(s) they've made! No one is without fault or mistakes in their lives and some people are in a phase where they're making a lot of mistakes!

Also.. what comes around.... goes around (or vice versa?) this is true in life.
Thanks for this!
