Do you do any "small" things that bother you a little bit but not enough to change. When I wash my hands after playing with my cats or changing their litter, etc. I use my husband's towel instead of my own to dry my hands :-) It makes me feel a little guilty (but my hands are clean?!) but I have a "thing" about when I shower, wiping my face, say, on the towel where I've dried my hands after a "dirty" experience.

If you have a thing about wiping your face on the same towel that you wiped your hands with after cleaning up or petting your cats, why should you expect it to be okay for someone else!??? Get a separate towel for those times!

That's too easy curley, and besides, I do have two towels, mine and my husband's :-) I do have a separate kitchen towel to clean up my husband's "mess." He thinks he's a bird in the morning and uses the sink as a birdbath and gets water everywhere! I have to dry the counters where he's been or I lean against them and get my front all wet. Wow, sounds like I'm picky, and I'm not really. I'll have to look at that. Thanks!

I can sorta relate... LOL

Have you thought of keeping paper towels close by for these "dirty" experiences? Likewise in the kitchen. Dry up the "bird splashings" "Small" things with a paper towel.

When my husband trims his beard, he leaves little hairs all over the sink! "Small" things EEWWWWW! Paper towel to the rescue! It goes right in the trash afterwards. "Small" things
