I've been married for about 10 months now. my husband and I are still very much in love with each other, but my nagging anxiety about losing our relationship just keeps increasing. I don't know how to makes the thoughts stop, wether it is jealousy, or wondering about what he dosen't share, or taking too seriously the little ways people start to get used to each other, or when he is prreoccupied. How do i get this anxiety to calm down, so I can live in reality?

try to quit projecting and live in the moment. yesterday is gone, tomorrow isn't here yet....you've only got today to deal with.

does he give you any reason to doubt that he loves you? ten months is still the honeymoon stage of a marriage...... constant relationship anxiety

would you be able to discuss this with him? or if not, a therapist? you need someone to listen and give you feedback.......good luck, pat

Very good advice from Pat (Fayerody). I can't add anything except to say I know how you are feeling since
I too have always had relationship anxiety.

well i havent been married before but my advice to you is to talk to him. tell him how you are feeling. i think that talking to your better half about your feelings is a great way to lay a stronger foundation in your marrage. maybe he has the same problems? may think the same way you do? who knows! from my experence it is never good to hold anything back!
