What do you guys do besides hang out in bed together? Not that there is anything wrong with that! But i get the impression you want or need to build up your relationship with her. I know you probably have special family responsibilities, but what else is important or interesting or would be helpful to one or both of you? Even like cooking or bowling.

That seems like a FEAR of INTIMACY to me. Have you considered therapy? I'd get into a Codependents Anonymous support group [google it] or begin some Self Esteem work [google it] to fix all of that.

Drive, go on dates, discuss our pets, picnic with her friends, and so on. I am ok with normal dates
