Hi
I have been diganosed with schizophrenia for past one year.though postive symptoms ,like hallucinations and delusions, are gone Negative symptoms are there and i am finding it diffcult to cope with them..
actually i have become extremely socially withdrawn and like to spend my time alone...also i find it diffcult to make new freinds or relationship with new people.... this thing is causing me very diffcult situation in my work life...i am hardly mingled with my team members and they find my behavior very odd...also i find very difficult to start a conversation or continue with conversing....i.e . poverty of speech is very much there

if somebody is facing or have faced similar problems please suggest me what can be done to improve my situations

i am currently on medication(Olanzapine)...

Sandy,
I don't have personal experience with this but hope you find good resources.

Do your team members know a little bit about your situation, so they know how to be supportive and don't misinterpret your behavior when you are withdrawn? Seems like this would help ... even if you only disclose a bit. Can make a big difference.

Wishing you well,
