Even my MOTHER forgot my birthday. friend-families vs. family-families

As did the majority of my friends, but while that hurts, it doesn't hurt quite as much as your family ignoring you. Especially the person who gave birth to you, for god's sake!

I get ticked off every year because I make a huge point of remembering all my friends' birthdays, and none of them remember mine. I never figure out what I'm doing wrong, though! I work hard throughout the year to be good to people, and then when it's my turn, I get shat on.

Bah humbug. friend-families vs. family-families

Hi Candy,

I think a lot of people don't send cards anymore.

All of your friends are very lucky that you celebrate them so beautifully.

Hugs,

EJ

Fine, forget the cards. A 5-minute phone call? A 30-second email saying "I'm thinking of you"? How hard IS it if *I* can do it for every-frickin'-body ELSE? friend-families vs. family-families

Candy,

I'm sorry you are feeling sad, hurt and mad over this.

Yes, people, especially family and friends should be more thoughtful and caring.

I just think everybody for the most part is caught up in their own lives and problems. I'm not saying this is right, I just think it is the norm.

The people who make the extra effort, and celebrate their friends, like you, are the exception.

Have I told you this week yet, that I think you are EXCEPTIONAL!!! friend-families vs. family-families

Hugs,

EJ
