Some of you might remember me from this board and the depression one. And maybe the anxiety one too. Anyways, I haven't been on here since August I think. I didn't forget about you guys! I was also hacked, and I had no idea that I was until today, 10/30/15! UGH!!!!

I didn't use this one email in forever. To those who messaged me, thanks! Your kind words mean so much to me, as do the cute pics! I have been very lazy the past few months. Also, I have made a couple of real life friends that kept me a little busier than usual. Things are going well, and for the most part, I'm a bit happier now than I've been in awhile!

I hope that no one posted messages or anything like that using my name, ugh! I'm so glad that I was able to get back on here! Sorry if this is the wrong place to post something like this! I'd like to say hi to my friends on here. I hope that you're all doing well!

Happy Halloween everyone!

Oh, speaking of being hacked, has anyone's account ever been hacked on here? Or have you ever known of anyone who's been hacked on here? I feel so violated! I don't get how this happened as I'm the only person who uses this computer or knows that p.w to this account! WTH? I hope that the site administrators will do more to protect the people on this site, especially since the information that we share is so personal most of the time!

Feeling violated is normal!!

I would be worried if you were chilled about the whole thing.

Hopefully your account is hack-proof now.

My question is, why would someone WANT to hack someone on a forum anyway? Do you know who did it? Did you make sure they didn't hack anything else like email or fb? My fb got hacked before and that was scary

Well, I'd really have to be nuts to not care about being hacked! I just hope it's not some nutcase stalker. No one knows what I look like or that much about me on here aside from two guys on here. They seem nice and harmless though. And I've only sent them one pic of me. I mostly talk about the stuff that I talk about on here It's not like I'm looking for anything else!

Nothing else was hacked aside from the one email that I used to use on here. I changed it since that happened. I wish that the security on this site was stronger. It seems like all someone needs to know is what email you use on here to request a new p.w which isn't that secure at all. There needs to be stronger security measures on here! People should be required to enter their last known p.w like other sites request.

Good question. I think that they're either a stalker, someone the person knows, or someone who is nosy, or just someone who likes to harass people for no apparent reason. All I know is that hackers tend to be bored and anti social losers who tend to spend way to much time online.

Hopefully that will never happen again! If this ever does, then I'm outta here for good! I can't deal with scary and intrusive crap like this! I also got my FB hacked last year. I couldn't even open up a new account w/o having the same issue occurring which was that person who also hacked into my twitter account at the time was able to have complete control over changing the emails of the pic/video section of my FB account at the time. The only way that they could've really hacked my account is by knowing my personal email and phone number on there, ugh! Well, maybe not, idk.

I was still able to log into FB surprisingly, but not twitter. Long story short, I gave up on FB. Thank goodness that I used fake names on both accounts! I did use my real first name on one account for awhile, but then I changed it to a fake one.

I'm not sure WHO the person might be THIS time on here, but I sure hope that it's no one that I personally know! I used an old email that I used for personal contacts before I got hacked. Now I use one that no one knows about. As for the FB and twitter attack, it might have been someone who was one of my so called FB friends. I have met 98% of the people on there in real life, and I hardly even had more than 10 or 12 friends on there at that time.

So that was weird! I did know a couple of guys on there back then who knew a lot about computers. One guy loved to troll on another site we were both on. He seemed harmless and nice though. I did click on a few links that he sent me when I asked for computer help, so it's possible that he did it. I will never know for sure. I guess some of them are nosy, and they like the challenge of hacking into people's computers, ugh!

Sorry to hear that you got hacked too. Who do you think hacked you? I HATE these damn hackers, ugh! I wish that they could be caught a lot more easily and end up having to do jail time! It's the same as breaking into someone's house almost IMHO! It's not OK to snoop through someone's personal info and lock them out of their account, make changes to it, etc....!!!!

Needless to say, I never heard from any of those acquaintances again. I didn't feel as I could trust anyone who wasn't my real life friend on there anymore. I just email my real friends privately. It wasn't worth compromising my privacy just to keep up with a few acquaintances and FB sites.
