I don't know why I have the stuff still. Its just some video games and controller for the Xbox 360. I guess I maybe held onto them in some desperate hope we'd get back together again. The ex has made no move to ask for them back and I haven't exactly asked him about it either. I am now in a new relationship and am thinking I should ask my ex what he wants to do with his stuff. Is it a good idea at this point?
I mean, our breakup was as good as breakups go and there isn't any malace or hatred between us. Just that we weren't compatable anymore romantically. He said he wanted to be good friends but we lost touch shortly thereafter. He said he was busy with work all the time. Anyways. What should I do?

I wouldn't worry about it. Throw it away or use it. How long ago was it?
My ex has things of mine. I left them behind because I didn't want them anymore or some stuff he is just storing for me as my place is much smaller now. And some things I simply forgot to take and he keeps finding them. We ve been together almost 9 years and lived together, i Left him last summer but we remain friends and talk all the time. I am also friends with his daughter . If he found something of mine I forgot about and wouldn't tell me or throw it away it would upset me. But if we didn't keep in touch and lost contact and years later he found something then it is a different story. It depends on nature of your relationship and if you keep in touch or not I recently started dating someone new, taking it slow, but I don't think it is his business if ex of I have items of each other. My ex isn't dating yet but if he will perhaps his new woman would wonder about my stuff in his house? He claims he never will date as he will never get over me. That's baloney. So would your new guy want to know who these things belong to? If not i wouldn't worry about it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Well, I have never really forgotten that the stuff was there, it's just that I couldn't bring myself to do anything about it because maybe I thought it was a good excuse to talk to him again someday.

If the items are valuable maybe you can ask if he wants them. I think it is safe to contact him now as you are over him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If you have his address, I would just mail it back.
