It is my wedding anniversary today and my husband is out of town. I am alone and I miss him fiercely but we had a magical few days (our anniversary gift to each other) together and I enjoyed and made the most of every minute.
I have acknowledged that time apart is difficult but ultimately rewarding and I think that is already part of the battle won. I guess I am growing up.

I do miss him so very much tonight and it is not going well work wise for him (the reason he is out of town) so I really wish I could be with my dear husband! Today has been full of fond and wonderfully reminiscent memories though! I am so very lucky!

Happy anniversary, Sabrina. Just remember that the actual date is an illusion of time; what counts is the wonderful celebration experience that you had, no matter whether it is a few hours early or later than the "date."

Oh, absolutely! Thank you so much Wants2Fly.
We had a lovely chat on the phone a while ago but he sounded so very tired. All I want to do is massage his head while he falls asleep. He may be gone past the weekend at this point.
