Hello,
I have a exclusive friend who is also my classmate. He is a different guy with his opinions, thinking ways, life style and beliefs. We are occasionally sharing our experiences and knowledges about courses and other same interests. Although we are not best friends or closer to each other, I always like to spend time with him and see his excitement of to be understood by me. (or someone who can understand him) We are the same as soul mates. Nobody's talking and ideas have excited me since I met him. He is describing my imaginary mate with his personalty. I fall in love with him, maybe. I feel, I will never meet a guy like him anyway. I never tried to create a romantic relationship, but I always tried to be a friend with him. In that point, I am stuck on him. When I meet other guys, I feel guilty to cheat on him. Also, nobody excites me like his being. I am thinking of the possibilities about him: One day, we can be more closer (maybe romanticly) than today. But I am aware that we are breaking our little friendship. He is growing away from me these days and I am suffering the lost of him. If I try to forget his being, I will be unhappy. Nevertheless, I am unhappy right now. I am stuck on and helpless. I need some professional opinions. Thanks for reading. Last edited by retroghost; Sep 29, 2015 at 05:44 PM. Reason: I am sorry to my poor English. :( |

Could it be he is pulling away from you because he senses you are getting too close? Might he describe you as 'clingy'. Just a few thoughts I have.
Sounds like a neat guy but if he's interested in you romantically, I'm sure he would have moved on his feelings. But, in case he's the shy kind, what's stopping you from telling him how you feel? I think it better to get this out in the open sooner than later. The longer you harbour unanswered feelings for him the harder it will be for you. Bonne chance mon ami! Aurevior. |

PC isn't a place for professional advice, we are peer to peer.
That said, maybe the distance is from within yourself? Are there remarks made by him that could display otherwise? |

He is an introverted person and does not let people to be closer. He is not interested at being mate, partner or other relations romaticaly or not. Meanwhile, I am not sure that we are really friends in his sight. I dread to tell my feelings because I am afraid of losing him, especially his being that is completely like my "Utopian" mate. |
