Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum, and thank you very much for reading this. Please let me share with you what happened to me, as I am still in pain and have been to relationship counselling, anger management and addictions counselling. I met my gf in May of 2013, we are both alcoholics. My family (after only 3 years of trying to be supportive, and also being alchoholics as well), abandoned me and I was alone. So my gf was the only person in my life at the time, and I was sensitive to everything around me.) Then one night, she cheated on me, IN FRONT OF ME, with a 60 year old man... Are you still together? Are you both still drinking?
Everyman i have dated has had alcohol issues and every man has cheated. Related? I think maybe alcohol lowers your inhibitions and you do whatever you want. |

Please seek help for alcoholism, both you and her. When you take care of that everything else will fall into place

1. you need help for your addiction
2. you need to cut ties with this woman. Not just because she cheated on you, but because she is thrusting upon you the role of being a co-dependant. You are going to fall into the trap then of reinforcing her behaviour. You will not get healthy yourself as long as you are in that relationship |
