Hi everyone,

My soon-to-be-ex has started moving his stuff out of the house, and it's really hitting home that I'm about to be alone. I feel like I've sprung a leak, I've been crying so much. The thing is, even as he's moving his stuff out, he's still being so thoughtful and considerate. I know our drifting apart had as much to do with me as him, but I am starting to realize that through all of my confusion about our relationship, what I really wanted was to be able to repair things, not to split up. But since he has decided to give up on us, I don't have much choice but to move on.

And so I cry as he moves out...and hopefully I will learn a lesson about not waiting until things are too far gone to fix before I say something is bothering me.

*sigh*

Huge hugs and comfort come your way. Don't forget to take time alone to grieve but try to find someone to hang out with too just to take your mind off it once in awhile.
My thoughts are with you. Take good care of yourself.

mj,
I want to talk to you, I'm in a hurry right now but I'll be sending you a PM later on. I don't know what to say that can bring you comfort right now, but I am sending you a HUGE HUG, and even my "damaged right wing" to put over your shoulder, we could take a walk and just silently watch the birds we have spoke about that we've seen. Take care, and I'll be talking to you.

Ah mj,

I think we all wish we could take you for a walk and try to help get your mind off this for awhile. I know it's not easy on you love. FWIW, as usual you know we're all here for you and you can PM me anytime you want to talk if you don't mind talkin' to a dumb ol' boy...

Wish I could hug it all away but I'll keep holding you close to my heart.

Thanks so much to all of you for your kind words and hugs. Just to show you how "leaky" I am right now, I started crying as I read these replies, I was so touched by your concern. At least that was "happy leaking"! ; )

Thanks again...y'all are terrific!

*hugs*

Hey there sweetie,
Can I send you a pipe wrench to tighten up that leak??
Just kidding, I am trying to make you laugh, when I was a kid,
a "very long time ago" I was "THE CLASS CLOWN", I was testing the waters, seeing if I still had a little bit of that kid left in me
Brighter days will be on their way, they will believe me. . .

Thanks, darkeyes...you did give me a laugh!!! : )

And things are getting a little better...the leaks are slowly drying up...and having people around like you to lean on sure helps, too! Lil' ol' dependent me needs all the support she can get! : )

*hugs*

Sorry I never got to PM you I got busy tonite, but I am glad I made you laugh a little I do my volunteer work tomorrow (the birds) I'll think of you as I bring their food mixtures out to them, and when I leave there, I watch the ones fly about in our open lands, it is so great, a mental moment of escape, a mini "holideck"
Take care,
Goodnite
