Am i being attached?

Good evening people. Long ago, well, like 4 months ago, i dealt with some situation about a girl and... Well, i'd like to be more clear this time, besides, the situation is quite a lot more different now.

Last year, i met a girl who was quite a serious person, or at least, around where allways saw her.

She got my attention inmediately, BUT it wasn't because i fell in lov or something haha, it was because... (Dont laugh, well, you might do) It was because she was like 7 inches taller than me! hahaha. But well, she got the attention by basically anyone, besides, i never thought she was ugly.

I'm quite a shy guy so... I struggle to met women, and not only because o could get a romantic interest, but just because i'd like to make friends
One time i was chilling with my friend and i saw her. So... i asked him a favor: I would talk to this girl and he would watch if i made something weird (because i feel like people doesn't often feel comfortable with me).

So we did as we planned, BUT, as i made contact with this girl, i approached and asked her a question, so she removed her headphones, smiled and answered.
HELL! Those were the cutest smiile and voice i've ever heard. It was both charming and warm. From that moment, i didn't gave a damm about the favor i asked my friend (besides, he said nothing was wrong).

So i tried to get to know this girl, we chatted sometimes, we talked and PERSONALLY i felt comfortable.

So she tolde me she was about to enter school, naturally, i might not see her again.

So... I built courage and asked her her fb, so.. She gave it to me!
I spelled wrong the name intentionally so if she wqould correct me, and she did. I felt the happiest man alive, i even lifted around 300 lbs that day :P
But... She never answered.

I felt REALLY bad at the beggining. Months have passed and almost all of my friends know this story.
I don't really talk much about this because i don't want them to think i'm a whinney kid or something. Besides, i feel a thousand times much better.

BUT, i think of her a lot recently, her smile, hair, voice. She even made that laugh which you think is cute but semi-fake (i don't know if i explain this well, English is not my strong language), and i loved all of them.

As i said, i remember her almost everyday, and i really don't get down nor upset, so i don't think of it as a problem.

So... i'd like to ask you a few things, to get your points of view:

1. This go for women (or men with the experience), would you date a shorter guy?, i'm not THAT short (i guess), but this woman was REALLY tall, so i hear a lot that women feel unconfortable with shorter men, besides, i look shorter because i'm kind of bulky, NOT A MONSTER, but a little bulky.

2. How do you think this gitl could've felt about me? She was never rude to me, neither she tried to avoid me, and, from my point of view, she also seemed to look for me when she arrived or left (just with her eyes, i was always the one greeting, only a few times she said goodbye), as i said, she also made that fakie laugh that i guess you do when you try to "keep it cool". I don't know, maybe it was my imagination.

3. Is it wrong if i think of her a lot recently? As i said before, i don't feel down, upset or anything, but i miss her, i asked her her contact because i knew i might not be able to see her again, and 4 months have passed since.

Age may play a role for her? Yes, even tall women like men taller, at the same time, sometimes it doesn't always work out to be that way, I can think of many examples in my outside the internet life.
As far as not staying in contact via facebook, that might no longer be that big of a deal. Does she use other media? Snapchat, Kik, Instagram?

And about the social media... beats me i don't have any idea
