I woke this morning to husband having a hissy-fit b/c he couldn't find his keys. Now mind you, he didn't need them until tomorrow morning. He had his car keys, but didn't know where his house and tool chest (at work) keys were.

I told him to calm down, which only made him get upset. I let him rattle around for awhile. When he seemed fairly calm, I asked him if he wanted to find his keys. He said, "Yes". I said, "OK, bring a chair over to my desk."

When the chair was in place, and he was sitting down, I said, "Now, when is the last time you had your keys?"

We finally decided the last time he had them was when we came back from town yesterday.

I told him they were probably upstairs on his dresser. I told him that I usually remember where something I'm looking for, when I lay down, and suggested he lay down for a little bit. Long story short, he did find his keys later.

More later. Living with a 67-year old three year old is exhausting.

Bee and Kathy,

Thanks for your caring notes.

Quirky behavior -- husband!

I don't know what gets into him. Don't even ask what he did at dinner time last night.

Hugs,

EJ
