Is it normal to wonder someone's intentions when they talk to you. It mainly only happens when a male talks to me. I never realized it was because I was wondering their intentions that's why I get afraid with males. Does anyone else do this is this normal? Do I have trust issues?

to be honest, yes. I do that. I question females in my mind, mostly if they take an interest in me more than just chit chat. it is a trust issue that I can point to the roots of. I know why I feel the way I do and maybe that's something that can help you. Do you know what the reasons are that you have no trust in males? you don't have to say here if it's personal but just wondering if you might know?

Well, this guy told everyone my secrets and I never really got over that so now whenever I talk to males I am subconsciously feeling as if they are doing the same thing it really ****ing sucks but I also feel relieved when they ignore me and act like I am invisible it helps with the anxiety I don't like when they talk to me that triggers anxiety. I feel sad for it but then again I am thankful that I don't trust them can you imagine the dangers of trusting them? So, scary...
Thanks for this!

You were "burned" once by someone you trusted, and you expect the next man
you meet to do exactly what the last man did. A reaction like that is well
inside the ball park, so to speak. Take all the time you need to work through
this, and chalk that one up to experience. Better luck with your next
friend-who's-a-boy, and here's hoping he does turn out to be boyfriend material.

you don't have to get over it. Just use it as experience to know what to look for in a male. I mean think of it this way. you're a female. you have certain things you do ways you behave. but do you think every female thinks and acts just like you? Probably not so consider this, what are the chances that every male is untrustworthy like that one?
