Hi everyone. I've been having lots of trouble starting a new relationship since my ex left me. I know I'm still really young but that was the most hard breakup I've ever had since it made me start doing things I wasn't capable of doing before, like making out with random boys or smoking, primarly weed, or normal tobacco, etc. I get messages from boys hitting on me but none of them captivate me to start a devoted relationship with them. I'm scared that the relationship will turn out like the last one and I don't want that... I'd like to hear your guy's thoughts on the subject and maybe some tips? Thank you.
Hugs from:

Hi, Notsamantha. Welcome to PC. You will find a lot of helpful people here.
As to your mindset about starting a new relationship, you would do yourself a favor to abstain from meeting me at this time. You need to allow time for your healing from the trauma of the last relationship. You will not find your peace in bonding with a new man as long as you are hurting. BTW, been there, done that. It doesn't work. Search for ways to improve yourself, take classes, find a hobby that is fulfilling, seek out friends who are supportive.
Thanks for this!
