My ex recently married. We have been apart for more than 2 years. We were together for three years and during most of that time, I thought we were deeply in love. We did have some unique challenges, not of out making, which I won't address at this time. Ultimately she found someone else on a dating site and left me. The devastation was awful but after much pain I am finally healing.
During our relationship we wrote many loving and romantic things to each other. At one point I wrote something from the heart. Not cliche. Not something anyone else has ever said. Just a few sentences that described my unique love for her. Recently I happened across a u-tube video of her marriage on the Internet. In it, there was a voice over of each spouse saying the vows they had written. My ex was saying, to her betrothed, the very words I had written. Simultaneously I felt heartbroken and somehow in a need of a shower. My question is: is this disordered behaviour or simply bad behaviour? |

Sounds like poor taste if she remembered the words had come from you and hadn't "embedded" it somewhere in her memory only to recall it and somehow think she spoke from the heart. Having said that, she's probably clueless to the fact that you'd ever find out and may not have been able to express it using different words. Doesn't make it right but again not the best taste.

I think it's disturbing behavior...try not to let it rent space in your brain. Past is the past. Take care.

She posted her wedding on youtube? It's hard to say someone is disordered online and from a brief question. Can give an opinion of she seems to be lacking courtesy. Nevermind, I can't personally bring myself to consider exes while in another relationship. I typically take my sweet time to have gotten over them. Love notes typically get destroyed...but that's me.
