My boyfriend asked for us to be on a break through message and hadn't said anything to me yet.I am very heartbroken but have been living.But there is this guy in my class which is very cute and I always had a crush on him and a friend of his told me likes me and stuff.Since my boyfriend didn't said anything,I don't know if it could as cheating if I go out with this friend.What do you think?

I think if you go out with this guy as a "friend" then it would be okay. I don't think that would be considered cheating. But first I think you should clarify with your boyfriend exactly what he is expecting from you. If he is saying break does that mean a break from you to date other people or what exactly does that mean? You should also tell him that you want to go out with this other guy as a friend and let him know that you're telling him up front so as to keep the honesty between you two so that he won't be blind sided. Communication is the key to a good relationship.

Why do you think your Temporary
Ex-boyfriend would want a Break,
So that If His plan to get lucky works and You find out,
You and He were on a Break,
So he's a good Guy;
Not a Cheater?

You and your bf need more communication here. Telling you over text?! I'd be pissed. If you're crushing on someone else I would sustain from seeing this person until you and your bf figure this out. Who knows, if the break is for good then go right ahead and go for that crush.

But in my mind, if I'm on break with someone I wouldn't even entertain the idea of hanging out with another man until I know the relationship is over.

How long has this break been going on?

What sort of communication (if any) have you been having with him during the break?

I'd ask him to clarify the break. And make him aware that one cannot predict the future and if an opportunity arises to get to know someone else that you aren't going to decline.

I see nothing wrong in going out with this other guy if you want to. So long as you don't get too intimate then it should not be considered cheating. How long has it been since you last had contact? It seems unfair for your bf to initiate a break and expect you to wait until he makes up his mind, so I hope that's not the case. Use this time for yourself as well to find out what you do and don't want.

Telling someone they want a break via message, not in person, pretty much means it's a break up, he just had no guts to tell you directly. Move on. Go see other guys

No one every really knows what a break means. You should definitely clarify it, and you may want to be prepared to lose your boyfriend. :/

if you're considering this other "cute" guy and how this other guy likes you and it has you tempted, my impulse is to say that the break should take on more of a break up kind of thing because you can't be all that into your bf in the first place.

I would be upset if I got a text like that, Why can't he tell you in person, Maybe he is seeing some one new, If I got a text like that I would move on and go with this new guy, Its not cheating, He choose to break up so you are free to see who ever you want, Life is to short go for it and don't look back, Its his lost
Thanks for this!
