I haven't heard that there is supposed to be a kiss at any specific date.

But after I read other posts about other things the guy said he isn't interested at the moment. Not because he didn't kiss but because he verbatim says he isn't interested. I am sorry.

He seems honest and good person It just not meant to be

In my experience there is a kiss or hug when you part from a date, and there is a kiss at midnight on New Year's Eve. It's an unspoken understanding. There is a kiss under mistletoe, too.

As old-fashioned, chauvinistic, and full of platitudes as my mother raised me, she was so right in her advice for getting a man.

It is the happily ever after part my mother and I have the trouble with...

were there other signs of affection? hugs, holding hands, bumping, touching, eye contact, laughter, leaning in, facing one another fully?

just because the kiss didn't happen doesn't tell the whole story.

you may benefit from some videos on decoding body language in preparation for the next date.

don't give up

he may have wanted to kiss, but was waiting for the invitation. either you didn't give it or he didn't pick up on it.
