Why do guys keep doing this?

I really should not have blamed my son's financial success on the economy because that's making an excuse and I think when we make excuses for ourselves or others, we are holding ourselves and the people we love back.

I know you get overwhelmed with too much info. We do care, and a lot of people here know the system for getting help with disabilities. Just take it one step at a time.

The compulsive spending is going to be another red flag issue to a potential partner, TBH.

This popped into my head as the biggest reason they aren't asking you out again. You ought to be at least offering to pay your own way.
