Did you plan another date? It sounds like you two have good connection but do date him a bit longer before you know for sure it's right fit. Good luck on a second date!

Sounds wonderful, but please don't get too swept up in the magic, as it might blind you to reality.

Not trying to burst your bubble, just want you to be careful, we can be happy and careful.

Last time I felt like you're describing, I had found a best friend. We were intimate for a bit, but long term we were romantically incompatible. He moved away, but 10 years later we are still very close. So close, in fact, that it raised a few eyebrows at my wedding because we forget to give each other personal space lol. Lucky for me, my wife adores him so it doesn't cause problems my marriage.
All that was to say don't take that strong connection for granted because you never know where it might lead. Things could go to a perfect but unexpected place after the initial rush wears off.

Enjoy the excitement. Just keep in mind that when your feelings are this intense this quickly, they are more about you and your fantasies than they are about him and your relationship with him. You guys just don't know each other well enough yet to have such strong feelings about each other. The feelings are probably about your unmet needs and your hopes and dreams about who he *might* be and the relationship you *might* have with him. It's entirely possible that things will develop in that direction-- just stay realistic and don't jump in too fast. Take the time to already get to know who he is. Real relationships are hard work and take time; the "lust" stage is fun but it's temporary. Have fun and I hope it works out for you!

I'm here. Our second date was postponed because he had a family emergency come up. Something about his grandmother falling and ending up in the hospital.

Yup, we have had a second date, and already discussed a third one closer to my house as the first two were closer to his.
