My husband and I are going out tonight. I am nervous and I'm looking for excuses not to go... I'm avoiding conflict! (that seems to be my defense mechanism).

I have to stay put and be strong and ready for what ever is coming. I know he wants to talk, and I was ready this morning but as the day goes by I'm getting a little nervous. I still hope for a good outcome but I am scare.... Will I handle it right? and What is the right way of handling it? Should I make the first move? I am sooo concern about doing the right thing I cannot even think.

Anyway, thanks for listening.

You can read my posts under "survivors of abuse" to get an idea ... I want out, but as peacefully as possible and hurting him the least possible too ... we have three kids and I'm also thinking of them.
My children are the reason of my life ... they come first, so I'm also concern about keeping them as loved and safe and stable as possible.
