I found an IOU from 1996, where I paid her property taxes. In her handwriting it reads she owes me the money and her necklace (that same dreaded necklace) is collateral for that loan. Of course, it was never repaid, and was forgotten by both of us.

Plus, now I had to admit to my h that I gave her that money without discussing it with him. So I apologized to him. She had me do it behind his back.

Should I send a copy to my parents to prove my case? Should I send it to my sisters? My aunt?

My h said that is like a N. Korean missile!

That was only a few years after we were married, when she said she never should have paid for my wedding, and it took her last dime! (None of that was said at the time of making my wedding)

So, I guess I secretly gave her the tax money.

The mind games are just too much to even sort out.

I'm sad it ended this way. I'm sad it went on this way for my whole life. What a shyt show.
