What are your turn-ons and turn-offs in a man/woman physically/emotionally/etc?
I'm having a lot of fun on a new dating app called Bumble. Basically, the woman makes the first move with a message, and then the man has 24 hours to reply. And there are a TON of good-looking guys on Bumble. Completely blows OKC out of the water. And I know right away when a guy likes me! The downside is that you don't get to know their personality, it's mostly just looks, but there are quite a plenty good-lookers out there. I never thought I had a type aside from "unconventional conventions" as Rocky Horror puts it, AKA I really like weird and unusual guys, but now I've realized the majority of the guys I've swiped right are guys with beards. That is surprisingly a huge turn on for me, and I like all facial hair from a noticeable stubble to a long past-the-chin hillbilly beard. I think it's because it makes them look manly and rugged. I also like guys with blue eyes and green eyes but dislikes brown eyes, and I like guys with broad shoulders. Wait. Hold on. I think I've fallen for the Brawny man! Hahaha, yes, I also like lumberjacks! Hahaha! |

I'm glad you're having so much fun and finding lots of cute guys. I don't think something like that would work for me because I go for non-physical things like intelligence, warmth and guys who can make me laugh. Good luck with Bumble. Best wishes.

not that it makes much of a difference but I did become aware a few years ago that I have a broad type of men that attract me physically and emotionally. Physically it's mostly the sort of intellectual handsome looking type, green/blue eyes(but it doesn't matter much), any hair really.
Emotionally(and this is a biggie because they could be my version of Adonis and it wouldn't matter if their personality isn't good) I've always been attracted to intelligent but not arrogant or pretentious men. Also, I don't like machism, macho men, macho attitudes, that puts me off totally and if I hear them say something like "I don't do X or Y because I'm a man" or "I'm a man, so..." my lady boner just shrivels instantly. And I like sensitivity, men who didn't have their emotions repressed and who can connect and feel deeply. For me that's an essential trait because I need someone who can truly connect and who takes emotions seriously, I can't truly trust otherwise. A sense of humor is a plus, playfulness, introspection. I'm a pretty active person(not overly so but..) so that'd be nice too. I'm not into "strong" men, I'm into human men. |

I don't care about looks at all. I care about kindness and intelligence. It doesn't matter how they look. Attraction comes from within. As they say "sex isn't between your legs, it's between your ears".

My husband is is a fantastic man , He is caring, He is a great father to his 3 boys and a great help to my daughter..... he has a great sense of humor and he is kind.
He honestly wasnt my "type" I always like tall men of course attractive too .. My husband is attractive but he is only an inch taller than me and thicker... Being in love with someone is on a whole different level than looks.

Yes the ugliest guy in the world becomes attractive to me if he is genuinely kind (not nice) and intelligent. One problem i have with online dating is that I can't figure that out from the internet and so it is largely a waste of time to meet someone really great.

I've met my husband on eharmony and we got married last year. I've met other very nice people on dating sites. I am confused by your post quoting me. Also why is it an exception. I know many people who met their partners on dating sites. |

I see. No I never said that. Btw you said you advocate for chat rooms on dating sites, but several dating sites do have chat rooms. Match.com has it and several other ones. You can chat with people on there first and then look up their profiles if that's what you prefer. It's not free of course. |

Type of guy I like:
-fair skin -his action and the way he talks is soft -not a clown (because guys always try hard to make a joke) -intelligent -attractive personality -not popular -love cute things like cats and plushies Bonus: -His race is different than mine I look at all those first...but normally, I would always fall in love with the most unexpected person and completely the opposite from my type. And mostly.......it's the same gender as mine. T_T That's why I've never been in any relationship. Plus, the small number of guy I like always already been in a relationship with someone. Sad.Anyway, all I wanna say, love works in a miracle way. :') |
