I hate it when people say i am "confused" because no I am not. I remember I truly started feeling this way 3 years ago. Although i have always felt this way, it is just 3 years ago I found out the name for this and it all really related to how i have been feeling before then.

I don't feel 100% like a guy or 100% like a girl. Actually if i'm being honest, I don't feel comfortable with society's girl sterotypes and society's guy sterotypes. I can relate to both genders though like i have friends who are girls and guys and just because of their gender doesn't matter to me I treat them the same etc.. it is just I feel super uncomfortable getting "gendered" as either gender. I feel super uncomfortable with the sterotypes of genders too.

No I'm not a "tumblr person like oh there are 100s of genders." I don't think that is true. But I just do not feel 100% like either gender. Does anyone else feel this way too?

My parents and family members don't understand this and none of my friends do either. My friends refuse to understand as they think anyone who feels this way is just a "tumblr user trying to feel unique" although I am not and those tumblr people make me feel uncomfortable to.

I guess I'm just wanting to see who can relate to this?

Hey Koolz. I think I ultimately understand what you're talking about. I am male, and I'm perfectly fine with being male, but I struggle with the expectations of how I should act as one. I do not feel masculine at all. I am much, much more in the middle of the spectrum, and I struggle to keep male friendships, because I suspect I make them a little uncomfortable (there could be other issues with my personality I'm less aware of too, though).

The strong stereotypes for each gender don't make me terribly uncomfortable until people start talking to me as if I "get" certain things about being male (not that I blame them; I look like a normal guy). I don't usually get those things they're talking about. And I can't claim to get certain things about being female of course, either. So I do feel kind of adrift somewhere in the middle, not really a member of either camp.

I'm mostly comfortable with this, and there isn't a lot of conflict inside of me (like you said, I'm not confused either), but explaining it to people is stressful, and I tend to keep my mouth shut.

I understand this 100%, although I am trans. I'm non-binary and, honestly, feel like a feminine male more than anything. If you want to account for how society sees gender, anyway, lol. But I've never felt like a guy or girl, or at least, how someone 'should' feel as either.

Honestly, people fall all along the gender spectrum, regardless of their sex or gender identity. Heck, some people fall off it completely, like myself. As far as I'm concerned, gender isn't black and white. There's plenty of grey between and most, if not all, binary people land on one of those shades of grey, trans or cis. There's guys that are into 'feminine' things like fashion and nursing. There's girls that are into 'masculine' things like mechanics and video games. Not every man is macho and not every woman is ladylike!

I can relate. I find it quite offensive when someone says I'm confused. I'm currently questioning my sexuality.
