Um, this has me concerned. If your boyfriend were committed to you he would make great effort to see you despite whatever the relationship he has with your mother. The fact he has decided not to is a big red flag indicating what kind of priority he places on your relationship. Frankly, this says "I don't care about you."

Secondly, you need to make a commitment to him and that is to put your foot down to your mother. As you need to be a priority to him you need to make him your own priority and ignoring her attitude is not an example of this. Similarly it say you don't care about him.

This is not a healthy situation.

I don't have any other suggestions other than others have brought up really great points and you should consider all these possibilities and maybe look at the red flags.
