Is it okay to tell the one you like you have mentail illness or not. I was just wondering.

Don’t bring it up first few dates, who knows you might not like the person at all ..

At least get to know the person a bit first.

You wouldn’t tell someone about a physical illness or disease on your dates, so it should be the same for mental illnesses

I only told my partner 2 months into dating. I wanted to know that we had the potential to 'really' have something going before disclosing this to him.

Sure it if is getting serious... they should now rather than randomly be surprised years or so down the road.
