okay so me and my boyfriend spoke of my disorder today and he said that its just an excuse to be *****y and i was so hurt

Sounds like he spoke in anger/frustration? Did you have words?
I believe that where relationships and mh are concerned the partner desires to see active signs of seeking to manage health as opposed to avoidable/controllable/mindful(less) behavior. |

It really sucks to have a partner who doesn't get it.
How interested is he in educating himself about your disorder? He can be a great pillar of support if he learns what your early warning signs and symptoms are. There are heaps of support sites / blogs he can read too that are written for partners of people with MH issues. |
