Just like that “mom, I broke up with so and so”. It was a brief relationship and she didn’t like him and he wasn’t a suitable partner. So mom will be ok

It was about us getting back together we broke up again so I erased it. But he's messaging me again and she won't be happy if we reconnect I fear she'll have a heart attack or something since she got so fuming angry about me wanting to see him. I'm struggling ending a relationship with a man I love because no one approves of him not pursuing me.

If you and this fellow live together and don’t work out what then ??? What if your mother won’t take you back ? What will you do ?
Friends couch ? Homeless shelter” you already said you can’t afford to live on your own.

That is why I am trying so hard to do this the right way but she gives ultimatums and I usually fight her by going with her ultimatum. She's always taken me back in the past, but I fear she won't be around to do it in the future. She's older, health isn't great. My dad died 13 years ago. I'm lucky my mom is still around giving me hell. I'm trying hard to save money up and than move out so I'll be more stable. But my car is old, my job is iffy, and no matter what I save it'll get spent on likely car repairs or replacement or even moving.
