My neighbor called the cops on me

Been having issues with my neighbor 2 doors down from me.about 6 weeks ago i fractured my right ankle from a fall.my neighbor 2 weeks ago flaked out on me again.several times she has flaked out on me.2 Weeks ago I left her a note on her door and blocked her from calling my new phone number i have been ignoring her for 2 weeks even though i saw her outside the apartment building 3 times.about 2 hours ago I am falling asleep on my recliner in my living room.then all of a sudden i hear loudly her talking about me outside.i limp outside to see what is happing & i see the cops talking to my neighbor.she told the cops that I been harassing her ever since she wouldn't give me a ride to Walmart.she said she is in bad health & my harassing her has made her health worse & she doesn't feel safe living next to me anymore.all the stuff she told the cops are a lie.in the past she has threatened me & others living here.cops spoke to me & at first i think the cops believed her over me.which is complete bull ****.but then as the cops where leaving she comes out & says aren't you going to arrest her for harassing me & make her go back inside she's is harassing me by sitting outside right now.cops said I could sit outside on a nice day like this & me sitting outside is not harassment.they also told her to just go back inside and not to bother me.they also told me if I have any problems with her i should call the cops on her & she got mad & then slammed the door

I hope your neighbor isn't a nightmare brewing Maybe the guilt from flaking out on you was eating her up inside? I'd probably continue ignoring her, the best you can. She can only call the cops so much before it falls on her own shoulders.

she's made it clear to the cops who's the one falsely accusing someone when she claims that you sitting on the steps is harassment. Let it go and keep blocking and keeping her at a distance. She'll likely try something again but unless it's literally her harassing you I'd just let it fizzle out, she'll get bored. It's kind of like what some people would call bullying really or attempts to bully you. manipulative spoiled person apparently that freaks out when she doesn't get her way. I'd go as far as moving if she doesn't first, as soon as you can

Has your property management been involved? I am unsure what they can do but I think they should be made aware there is a deep issue between you two.

Keep a journal and start to document any interactions you have with this woman.

I’d report it to a landlord. They need to know. Sorry you have to live like this.
