He's in a cast and I'm so frustrated.

I'm looking after our kids and him too. Obviously he can't do much as in pain and has crutches but my god my patience is so thin and it's only been a week.

All we talk about is his leg. How he's doing, then next lot of medication he has to take, his next appointment, how to get there, I'm doing all the chores, the food shopping whilst going to work and caring for the kids and him! Bathing him helping him on and off the toilet.

I want to scream. I love him dearly and yes it's selfish but not once has anyone asked how I am even him

Your frustration is COMPLETELY understandable, @Icedgem!! Please don't feel guilty for how you're feeling because it is COMPLETELY UNDERSTANDABLE! How long do you think he will be in that cast? Hopefully not for too long. Please hang in there. You're stronger than you think. I recognize that things must be REALLY HARD for you right now. Please stay safe and take WONDERFUL care of yourself. Try to get some rest when you have the opportunity to do so. Perhaps a therapist could help you to deal with your stress? If you already have one, talk to him/her about ALL of this. If you don't, consider seeing one. Remember that it won't last forever and that this situation is only temporary. Any relatives or friends than can help you and be there to assist you? Please reach out to ANYONE who can help you! Feel free to PM me ANYTIME when you need advice and support or even simply someone to talk to or vent to! I want to tell him how I'm feeling but my god I'm going to sound like I'm just having a selfish tantrum.

We've also had to cancel a holiday in a few weeks as he isn't allowed to fly now.

I know it's not his fault, what's happened is an accident and I will support him and help him as we are a team.

I feel everyone is constantly demanding so much of me.
At work, home, children, family etc

What kids? “Our” children? You always said you have one kid but not with this man. He has his own kids? Where is their mother? Is that the same guy who you were broken up to last winter because he wanted space? Are you back together or is this a new guy? You two live together now? I am so confused. If that’s the same guy who isn’t very supportive and doesn’t treat you that well, why are you doing everything for him? He can hire a nurse and he must have some family who can take his kids while he is recovering
