Is it weird to approach someone during the daytime these days? Everybody used to freak out about the covid situation but I feel like it’s more under control by now. Still, I don’t feel 100% confident about making a move. What would you think if I approached you (assuming I know how to do it and I don’t look like a hobo) ?

if you're 6 feet or more away from who you're approaching, I don't see anything inherently wrong. I can see it being a weird sight though.
Why do you ask? |

I ask because I obviously had to keep myself back because of the covid and I want to get back in the game ![]() |

Where do you approach people? You mean for a casual chit chat in a store or you ask strangers out? I am not sure what you mean

Why do you ask? Is it so untypical? Don’t tell me I’m that weird… |

I can't speak for other people, but I know I wouldn't take things in a direction that would require close proximity..
I suppose for some it would also depend on where you live and the frequency of covid 19. But even then, i would rather be safe than sorry. Easy for me to say though since i rarely go out. If you want to get back in the game, maybe you can try out dating apps or something of the like if you haven't already? |

I’d not be doing these things you described during covid.
I do talk to strangers so I don’t think it’s weird talking to people. But I’d think most women would be afraid to leave the mall with a stranger. That can be a next episode of a tv show about serial killers. I am not saying you are dangerous. But these women don't know if you are or aren’t |

I have to hand it to you, this is the best mindset one can have. I respect that and I can empathize. We don't leave the mall together, though - I'm not that good ![]() |
