Friends,

I was able to get my husband to go see his doctor today for his yearly check-up. He had a test last week that they doctor wanted to review with him, prescription issues, and then I had my list of things. It was great to finally share some relatively potentially serious issues with the doctor, so I'm not walking around under the weight of them.

The funny thing is the doctor was delayed in getting into the exam room, by almost an hour. It was touch and go there for awhile, if husband was just going to get up and leave. Major Triumph Fortunately, he stayed.

Hope everyone else had a good day too. Major Triumph

Yeah, take away their clothes and put them in paper doily dresses and they'll stay everytime Major Triumph

Glad your concerns are off your back.

heh..every man I've ever known seems to fear the doctor. I'm not sure why it is. One day I'll have to pressure my husband to do the same because he hasn't been to a doc since he was 16 years old! He's getting older, smokes like a chimney, and is a drinker. I imagine he'll have to go one of these days. Hopefully I'll have the convincing power like you do.

Hope everything went well with hubby.

Hey Perna,

They didn't give him one of those paper doily dresses, no wonder it took ingenuity on my part to keep him entertained. Major Triumph

One for Me,

I hope you back yours into a corner to go one of these days. My husband said he was tired of hearing me whine, so I should just make the appointment for him.

My husband has blood pressure meds he's taken for several years so he has to show up at the doctor's for review at least 3-4 times a year. We both have the same doctor and schedule our appointments together too so that works. It's nice having a docile, tractable husband. LOL!
