Okay so Im going out with this guy for the past 2years and I seen him and all he does is play video games and Im no longer attracted to him,hes more of a friend than any real boyfriend. We talk nearly every day and meet up for lunch every week but since the codi-19 I cant go see him.He says he wants to loose weight but how do I say it to him that I no longer want him liking me that way?

i'd suggest to simply be Honest and tell him what you wrote here. There's nothing to be ahsamed of, and though he may nto take it too well, it would be much worse if you continued to go out with him out of some sense of obligation. You have to feel free to date whoever you want as long as you're faithful and Honest with the people you're going out with. SEnding many safe, warm hugs to BOTH you, @princesscookie19, your Family, your FriEnds, your boyFriEnd/FriEnd and ALL of your Loved Ones! Keep fighting and keep rocking NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, OK?!

I know you don’t want to hurt his feelings. It’s very sad when both parties end up not feeling the same but it often happens.
Think for a moment what would you like if you were in his shoes? Would you like to know the truth, the honesty of the other person, so you could make your own decisions for the future?

he plays with his games waaay too much and only talks about trading in games.He also has a kid and I asked him what happened to his old gf and he says he lost touch with her and "grew apart" as he says. I’d just be honest and say you see him as a friend now - I don’t have anything against people playing games, but it seems like he prefers investing his time in those and not in you. That’s not a reflection of your personal worth, either.
And “we grew apart” is often a cover for poor behaviour on the part of the person who uses that excuse, sorry to say. At the very best, it’s an indication that they didn’t want to put the effort in to try and fix their relationship with that person before calling it a day.
Good luck with whatever choice you make, here. I know it’s usually tough breaking up with partners, but it is better in the long run!
