Am I supposed to push myself in order to help with dysfunctional family situations?
I feel as though my children hold me to the highest standards and then bash me when I cannot uphold those standards. My grandson's mother age 30 has cirrhosis and is not able to care for her children. So I have been expected to care for my grandson and today my daughter expects me to care for his brother as well who is age 6. I said I will only watch the 2-year-old because it's all I can handle. She's bringing them both regardless telling me she hates our family she's the only one willing to sacrifice things |

That situation is so unfair to you. Wish I knew what to say that would help.

Sounds like people in your family don’t respect your boundaries. They are playing on your emotions to guilt you into giving in to caring for their children. And you are sick with Covid and should be getting rest.
