Hello,
Im finally coming to terms with my asexuality (again!), but now im wondering about my dislike about kisses, hugs and caresses... since up to now all those elements had a sexual context, i mostly disliked them all. (making me believe im also aromantic) but now, thinking about an hypothetical asexual relationship, i wonder if those kisses, hugs and caresses would still disgust me or not. and in case the still would, then what kind of relationship am i looking for? a friendship? a "special" friendship? i still want that someone that makes my heart beat faster when i see him/her (maybe im bi-asexual), that makes my heart burn with enthusiasm about what we are talking about, sharing and fantasizing... but without the physical component, what would that relationship be? (it could also be a long distance thing, with me shaking at the thought of reading a letter or an email...) am i looking for a squish without the physical component? does it even exist? anyone knows what im talking about? opinions please? __________________ * Heaven is a place where Nothing Ever Happens - "Heaven" by Talking Heads * Death ends a life, Not a Relationship - Mitch Albom |
