My abusive dad and I got into a fight recently. I begged him to take me somewhere and he demanded that I apologize to him for cussing at him. I was appalled. He was a hypocrite because he would cuss at me more than I would and he would never admit that he was wrong.

Also he was the one who threatened to beat me with the belt just because he saw me crying and screaming after getting into a previous fight with my mom. So overall he deserved to get cussed at, because he was intending to brutally hurt me and I didn’t.

Him demanding me to apologize for verbally retaliating and calling him something he didn’t like is complete bs. He never admits he’s wrong anyway, so why should I?
