When I saw Doc John's announcements for today's birthdays, something about the date rang a bell. It wasn't until now that it finally hit home!

DOH! It's hubby's and my 33rd Wedding Anniversary!! DOH! DOH!

So... we both forgot! DOH! Oh, well... DOH! Not much in the mood to celebrate tonight anyway. DOH!

I'll get him yet, though! DOH! He's gonna pay up, even if I have to, too. LOL

Sept,

We are just as capable as they are of NOT wanting to remember things....if it's good enough for them....it's good enough for us....lol

Talk about anniversaries......I am paying all the bills now & my husband changed over one of the on line billings so I could do it from there......what was the password????? our anniversary date......so who cares...we are getting divorced.......what a strange password for him to use.....he can be such a jerk.

How did things turn out....did your hubby ever remember the date????

LOL SM - Happy Anniversary.

My husband's birthday is 3 days after our anniversary. Both of us have a nasty habit of remembering our anniversary, although we try. We're just not big on calendar dates or scheduled days to "love."

On our 7th anniversary, my husband gave me a gift and said "This has been the happiest 6 years of my life." It made me wonder which one of those years sucked. DOH!

On our 10th anniversary, I handed my husband his gift. He said to me "It's not my birthday yet." I looked at him and said "I know." A look of TOTAL dread came over his face because he realized it was considered a big anniversary. DOH!

He felt so bad, I received gifts every day for a whole week. He even drove up to Wisconsin to buy my favorite homemade Danish pastry. DOH!

I hope you're feeling better and able to celebrate your anniversary soon. DOH!

Debbie, he sounds like my ex! DOH! They do stuff like that to jab at us. ggrrrrr

Never did quiz Jerry on what day it was. I knew he had forgotten as well as I had. He got a chuckle at the fact that both of us had forgotten. I can't believe that *I* had! DOH! DOH! I saw "Birthdays for April 3" and thought "Hmmm... that means something to me, but what?" My mom passed on Aug. 3 so I made a mental check. It just didn't dawn on me what the date was until last night! DOH! Incredible! LOL

DOH! DOH! That is too funny, Kathy! Love the story!

Just had hubby read your post and he cracked up, too. Asked him if I was gonna get gifts for a week like you did and he just went "hehehe". Just like that! I guess not, huh? DOH!

It's okay. After 33 yrs, who cares until you start hitting the 0s. LOL
