i was broken up with in november, and i'm still pining over this guy. he was my first everything, but i'm not sure if that's all the reason why i still love him. he still tells me sometimes that he has feelings for me, but he's got a girlfriend, and he fooled around with one of my friends a month back. he's older and i'm disappointed in him, but i'd still give my arms and legs to be with him. but i don't want to feel that way.. i care so much and i don't want to at all.
how do i move on from him?

I don't think the question is how to move on from him; it seems that the real question ought to be how do I learn to be happy without him?

If this guy has a girlfriend but tells you that he still holds feelings for you while in another relationship and fools around without regard to the feelings of others, he doesn't sound like someone worth pursuing.

Heartbreak is hard and everyone goes through it; the important thing is to remember to love yourself first before ever loving another. And in that same respect, learning to let go of someone you love because its necessary.

Hope that was helpful!

(((((crownoflove))))) Only time will heal these types of wounds. In the meantime go on living, go through the motions if that's all you can do right now. One of these days you'll start to laugh again.

You can make this grieving time productive by deciding what you deserve in a relationship and don't settle for anything less.

I don't think there is any set time table for recovering from lost love. How long were together?

You deserve better and sometimes being alone for a while is best!

Unfortunately choosing a relationship can be like choosing a vegetable from the grocery store. you have to observe and handle several before finding the right one for you! If you don't find a good one you go without until next weeks shopping!

Keep your chin up and always do the right thing for yourself!
