Has anyone had good experiences with blind dates? I've been incredibly alone and miserable lately. I want to meet people but really dislike bar/club type places. I haven't been able to make a connection with anyone anywhere else. I found an online site that had some personals and managed to get a couple of blind dates out of it. One went okay, the other not so hot. I'm curious to know if anyone has had any good experiences. Was there anything that made it especially nice?

Yoi and double yoi.

I went out with my boyfriend on a sort of blind date. I knew nothing about him other than he was handsome. We're still together 8 months later. Also, my aunt and uncle's first date was a blind date too.
