I'm beginning the think a lot of my issues come from my adolescence. I had a happy childhood. I was a very happy baby - always smiling and laughing.

I know it's silly, but I even took this online quiz about what Freud would say about me. It told me my issues are from adolescence. Kind of weird, but I'm starting to suspect they are.

I was a very, very good teenager. I was obedient. I was a good student. But I wasn't very happy. I got picked on by FRESHMEN in my senior year, if you can believe THAT. Who did they think THEY were? I was an honor student. What were THEY?

Anyway, it's a start for me. Gotta go to bed now.

Cms,
Highschool is a horrible time. I too was always picked on by everyone in highschool to the extent that I now have nervous habits that I cannot get rid of.
I think that you are a wonderful person if that helps my issues

Jessica

Thank you Ozzie, Shakes, Mortimer, and Katt for all your support. This was ages ago, but I know I still react to certain things strongly because of it.

My dad started picking on me when I was 15 to make things worse. Maybe that's when it all started.

I know what you're saying with the dad thing. My dad was as bad as the people at school when I was younger grade schooler. I guess my mom was too, both weren't very patient or understanding. They got better though, they're okay to deal with now.

Have you and your father since mended your relationship, or is there even any way that's possible?

Actually, it's been a long road, Mortimer, but we are defintely doing much better now. He sent me this message email about holes in fences and how if he ever put a hole in my fence (analogy), he was sorry. I cried and cried. I do love him and I know he loves me.
