Dad

as you all know my dad has a terminal illness. His dr has told us all along that an infection or major bleed would be what gets him. He is very very sick right now with an infection. He is coughing up a little bloody mucus from this infection. Please keep him in your prayers and for me to have the strength to handle this.

So very sorry to hear what your Dad and you and your family are going through. I have been in that situation with my own dear Dad. It was agonizing. My heart really goes out to you and I will most definitely keep you in my thoughts. Sending love and strength your way

Bebop, I hope your Dad is doing well.

things are down again I am sorry to say. I think this is the beginning of the end. It makes me so sad. I don't know what I am going to do without him.

thanks guys. notz you aren't too far away are you? I am hanging on by a thread I think. I don't think he will pull out of this and it makes me so sad. I can't do a thing to help him out. all I really have is my husband and stepmom. others just blow me off but that is ok too.

(((bebop))) - this reminds me of when my mom was near the end. I understand how hard it is. I stayed awake for 3 days because I didn't want her to be alone. Sending you strength and praying your (((Dad))) won't suffer.

bless his heart. he called me again a little bit ago. he says he is tired and wants to go home. (Heaven) he would like to stop his transfusions but he thinks it is suicide. I told him it isn't and it was ok if that is what he chooses. it was like he was telling me goodbye. Not sure he will be here in the morning with that.

That is so very moving to hear that you told your Dad it is ok for him to let go now. That is a great gift you gave him.

sundog it is killing me to know I am losing him. but I love him so much and just hate to see him suffering. there is no doubt in my mind where he is going. he is such a kind hearted man. I have learned alot from him in my lifetime. it will not be easy at all though.
