I feel like I have made such a mess of my life. Some of it I contribute to my bipolar disorder, which has only been diagnosed in the past year.

I am living with regrets and these replay over and over in my head.

I have disappointed myself and God.

I don't know how to forgive myself or even ask for forgiveness, because I don't think that I deserve it.

Please pray for me and that there would be some direction in life for my husband and I. It has been a real struggle for us to find jobs in the same location.

Thank you.
Hugs from:

Don't you know that you CAN'T disappoint God? Whatever you "did" that was supposedly so awful (which I DOUBT) He forgave you the MINUTE you did it!! So if HE can forgive you, why can't YOU forgive yourself??? I don't understand people who go on pummeling themselves when GOD has already forgiven them! Stop beating yourself up, sweetie. We aren't "bigger" than God, so we have no RIGHT to go on beating ourselves up when God has forgiven us, correct?

And if you insist on asking for forgiveness, you don't have to do it in the form of a prayer -- just TALK to God. Sometimes the BEST prayers are conversations. God loves to have conversations with us, because those come from the heart. So just talk to God. You'll feel better.

And I'll pray that you and your husband can find jobs in the area. I know it's tough -- the economy stinks. So prayers are coming sweetie. Take care and God bless. Hugs, Lee

I can relate to your words in so many ways as I have travelled a similar path myself. But rest assured that your belief in God and your faith in prayers will lead you to Salvation. My best prayers and wishes are for you and your family. When it is the darkest, morning light is the nearest...
