Did I ever have faith? I thought I had faith at one time. I don't know if it's my fault or not. I can't find God and He knows that. I have no interest in anything, totally depressed and manic at the same time. It's a living hell. I just don't want to suffer forever from mental torture. Does anyone hear me?

I hear you and am sorry you are suffering. Do you believe in God? It sounds like you do. I don't want you to suffer forever either, and I hope you can find a way to get some peace.

Hang in there, crises of faith are very painful to go through, I've been there. Sometimes it means something new and stronger can come from the broken pieces, perhaps a new way of seeing the world. Take care of yourself during this difficult time and perhaps seek inspiration and beauty where you can - I love classical music and inspirational quotes such as the ones in Daily Living's sigature. Beauty can be found in so many places and this can bring hope.

Dear Hartbroken,

I hear you loud and clear. I am also afraid of suffering forever in a hell that will be much worse than this. I just keep reminding myself that we have an enemy of our soul - demons and the devil who love to lie to us. They make us think that God is not there for us or doesn't care. But God is near to the brokenhearted and He cares for the oppressed. He understands mental torture. Jesus died at the hill called Golgotha, the place of the skull. He endured mental agony on the cross saying father why have you forsaken me. He knows how we feel. The truth is that He loves us and He is the author and finisher of our faith. He has given to every man a measure of faith - so you have some! Keep crying out to Him in your pain. I'm praying he gives us some relief soon. Grace and peace.

PLEASE believe me when I tell you that GOD DOES HEAR YOU!!! He's walking with you thru this crisis. He's making sure that you make it thru!! When you stumble, HE picks you up. When you trip, He holds you up. But He is always right there, by your side. All you have to do is ask Him, and He will answer you. Sometimes the answer is no, and we have to accept that.

Just remember that He DOES love you -- you're His child, as we all are. He loves you and all of us equally. No one is loved more than the other. God has NOT forgotten you. He has NOT forsaken you either. He is right there beside you, right at this moment.

Talk to Him like you would talk to a friend, as He IS your friend. You don't necessarily have to say any specific prayers. Say what is in your heart, and He will listen. Sometimes the best "prayers" are just normal conversations. Try it --- it works! God bless you and please take care of yourself! Hugs, Lee

Maybe if you believe in your Higher Power instead of looking for or having faith in a biblical God. I don't even pray anymore to a biblical God but instead address all my prayers to my higher power who is also at times my teddy bear.

Instead of praying to the biblical God I send him messages that I write down then burn so the smoke rises upward toward heaven and hopefully he will see my message and then send back his own written messages. I still have yet to get a smoking message from Him, but you never know.

I know how you feel. I sometimes question where God is in my life. I have many times had something go wrong and blamed God. I have not been in church in a long time. My mom always wants me to go to her church. She is catholic but I am not I am baptist. They always say when we are going through good times we tend to stop seeking God but when everything is going wrong that's when we seek God the most. I myself am guilty of this. I think even in the best of times we need to celebrate what God is doing in our lives. Things will get better just go to God with your problems give them over to him and he will take care of you.If you need someone to talk to feel free to send me a private message on here. I am always here to listen to anyone. Remember seek God in your darkest hour but remember to seek him when everything is going good as well.
Thanks for this!
