Some of these "theological discussions".
I've always been God conscious. I firmly believe this is inherent in all of us. Of course there are many "unconsious ones" out there that don't realize this....perhaps all thier lives.
It's kind of funny that when I strayed away from God for a time, that my illness was what brought me back. I guess to be weak physically...or mentally is to be stronger spiritually. [2 Corinthians 12...verses 9,10.]
Was reading 1 John chapter 4 the other day. Short book...but a good read. [right before Revelation]
Verse 4 thru 7; "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he that is in you, than in the world.
They are of the world; therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
We are of God. he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. By this know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and everyone that loveth is born of God and knoweth God."
Verse 12, 13; "No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
By this know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his spirit."
I guess I've always felt his spirit...cause I'm part of it and it always has been there. The spark of life IS God.
The need for "proof of existence" is then irrelivant.

Thank you for sharing that moodyblu!!! I totally agree with that!!! The law of God is written in the hearts of man... we were first His before we became part of the world...

Jeremiah 1:5 says " Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; Before you were born, I sanctified you...."

How awesome is that? That shows we were part of His plan.... As for me, knowing God loved me when I was a small child is what gave me strength to survive what I went through... I always had Him with me in my heart...

I thank Him every day for loving me....
