The rainbow means he/she is at peace. That much is obvious. (You already knew that, though).

It also means "thank you and blessings" from your friend. Your soul-mate is thankful for the time with you. (The message is a gift...it is not easy to cross the divide to leave a gift...it requires MUCH effort...a sign of how important you are to them)

As for the oven...some clues that your friend sends...only YOU will know if they have meaning. If you understand the connection, then it was your friend. If you see no connection, then it was coincidence.

If they have a message to send, there will be very little question left in your mind. They will send it in a way you can understand it for what it is.

I've gotten signs from my best friend before, little things like her scent or a special dream. I think it's possible to get signs from lost loved ones.

When dogs die, people say there is a "Rainbow Bridge" that the animals cross over to and on the other side they are playing with the other animals who are gone before them. My 2 dogs have their own pages on Facebook, and I am a friend to many on there who have dogs who have died and passed on to the bridge. On Facebook, the admins are at war with people who post AS THEIR DOGS, on there. They have deleted many accounts. I go on there as so many others do and speak to others as if I am one of my two dogs and speak from their point of view. There are so many people on there doing this, and they have different spellings for words as this is how they think their dogs sound if the dog could actually form english words coming out of their mouths. We get very creative with our dogs on FB. Their are many, many, many others that believe that their dogs have passed on to this, rainbow bridge. Even though I am angry at a God that has not been there for me, even if I'm skeptical, it can bring me a little peace when someone speaks about dogs playing on the other side. I cannot give you my dogs full names for fear you will actually know who I am if you look it up on FB. Your dog, might have been giving you a sign. Who is to say? Yesterday, my mother had to have her guinea pig put to sleep as he was in lots of pain and there were a few things going wrong the last few days of his life. We just have to keep telling ourselves that he no longer feels the pain and he is no longer sick.

So sorry to hear about your loss muaythailady, sweetmadness, and atomicc. It's very hard to have to lose someone so gentle.
I've lost a poor kitten to toxio, it's rare but it cruelly picked my little baby. I was desperate and took an immense amount of photographs to just make sure he was truly gone...at that point, he wasn't. I have a photo of his little face. I feel he is always with me, saving all my little foster babies from facing similar fates. Thank you so much for sharing and letting me have a place to mourn and feel not so alone. Much love to all of you, and all of your loved ones. Thank you again.

Years ago I lived with my sister and we had 4 female cats. My first cat was the dominant without having to fight for it. One of our chairs in the living room was Kittie's. If one of the others was on it when Kittie walked into the room she would jump down and Kittie would sit in it. Sometimes she would allow one of the other cats to sit with her, but it was her chair.
The evening after putting Kittie to sleep, all 3 sat by the chair staring at it. It went on for about an hour. Out of nowhere I said "Kittie, it's OK to go. I will always love you." After saying that, the 3 of them jumped into the chair and cuddled with each other.
I had another instance as well.
My Grandfather passed away when I was in high school. I was already in bed when my parents came home. They came into my room to tell me. I cried and my dad sat with me for some time. After he left I tried to fall back to sleep, but my bed's headboard kept tapping the wall. (My bed was an antique with a 6' headboard.) I initially thought it's me, I must be shaking from crying so I laid still, but the tapping continued. Again, out of nowhere I said, "grandpa, please stop". It stopped.
I believe in Heaven and know they are there and will one day see them again,

My dad passed away just before Christmas 2013. While I was back 'home' for his funeral hubby, son and I stayed in a hotel. On Saturday we went to the funeral home for a private visitation (he didn't want the whole visitation thing where anyone could come so we did immediate family only) and as I walked out after spending a little time with him, I touched his hand and said "I forgive you and I love you, Daddy." That night in the hotel, I was restless and couldn't sleep at like 3 in the morning this little light just came on (by itself) near my side of the bed. I turned it off and tried to go back to sleep. It came on for no apparent reason again! I turned it off again, but as I went back to sleep decided that was my Dad letting me know that he heard me and that he is happy now.

scientifically speaking rainbows can happen even though it hasn't been raining. a rainbow (scientifically ) is light passing through water molecules. there is always water molecules in the air (evidenced by clouds, fog, dew, water evaporation from oceans, seas, lakes, rivers, streams) I remember in high school we made a rainbow in a peanut butter jar just by screwing on the top and placing the covered jar over a flame and shining a flashlight through the glass jar. there is always moisture in the air and as long as there is a sun or other light source there will always be a rainbow, whether we see them or not just depends upon our position compared to where the light source is shining through the water molecules...

that said spiritually I believe anything is possible. it just depends on your own culture and religion as to whether you believe it was your pet communicating with you....we cant tell you whether it was your pet or not...

example one person on here from one religion (cant say directly as talk of specific religions is not allowed in this forum) it would be believed that yes it was your pet, in another religion it would be believed that no it was not your pet because the pet is waiting for you at the rainbow bridge and yet another religion teaches no that all things are born, live, die then are reincarnated to be born and live again completing what ever tasks that was left undone and righting any wrongs they have done in their past life....

so ultimately its not what others believe....its what you yourself believes. if your religion and culture says it was your pet then it was.

Dear muaythailady88,

Yes this is scientifically true about rainbows, however, if it soothes you/a person to see it as a sign from their loved one from their perspective, I say let them believe.
H.
I also believe that the some souls/spirit lingers for some time and some souls/spirits enter the bardo states immediately.
I have experienced both circumstances from 2 pets.
Mist in the air and a source of light are two variables coming together at the right time for a the right person to see and notice. This was a blessing sign of peace.

The alarm clock, was it set on auto timer?

WE are ALL (electric) ENERGY there have been reports of tv, radio, ect going on without a cause or explanation. But nothing to proven by science.
Take things as you see it.

It is all in what we believe. I know that, but to me, and I fully believe in these things, that it was indeed a sign. A rainbow sending peace, and the alarm going off I agree with who ever said it "thanking you for your care".

I am so sorry about what happened. Losing a furry loved one is often harder then losing a human loved one for me personally. The bond I have with my fur babies is tremendous. I wish you the great peace dear. Hope you sadness is eased with every passing day.

I don't believe in these things but I had a friend who was killed in 11th grade. During his funeral mass there was a tremendous thunder storm and as soon as the service was over the sky was opened up and a rainbow there. Just coincidence I think.

Also during the week he died I decided to puff some marijuana for some reason and laid down and listened to some music. As it was wearing off I was listening to "Rumours". As "Gold Dust Woman" fades out someone is screaming a word and I could swear it is "Terry" which was my friends name. Utterly scared the bejesus out of me.
