Hi all and happy Thursday,
We just finished a 4-week Lenten series entitled: " In the arms of Jesus." The services covered evil, forgiveness, reconciliation and last night we had an AWESOME Taize service-a meditative service. The other Monday night I went out with a group the Rector meets with -"Theological Reflection." It was the week after he'd talked about forgiveness. He had thought back to his childhood days and contacted people he'd hurt. It got me thinking about the time I was very possessive of a high school friend-30+ years ago. I feel I really hurt her feelings. I talked to him briefly about it after the service last night. He said that, in the Episcopal tradition, once you confess something and are given absolution IT'S GONE! ![]() ![]() OCD Woman |

Hi OC,
Your minister sounds very wise. I am glad your load was lightened. Take care, Meta
