Can't even fulfill the most minor of obligations to my God.

Can't figure out who is telling the truth.

Can't figure out, between all those who know more than I, the arguments they have which continually deny each ones belief systems.

How am I ever to know the TRUTH!!!!

I'm sorry you are feeling this way. May I assure you that, to God, none of us are good enough in our own right, but are perfect IN HIM.

If you seek Him, rather than to try and understand others, you will find Truth. For He is Truth. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you.

Ask God to show you.

I try so hard, Sky, but what I see inside is not much different from the world outside.

I have made who I am, for the most part, and I understand that I must suffer the consequences.

For the most part, that is not my problem, for I ought to endure the pain I, myself, have inflicted.

I just can't (or don't want to???) allow for healing - at least not enough to give myself a break.

I know He is with me - I KNOW HE IS WITH ME!! I just want to stand, with my head held high, in spite of all this pain...

I just don't know how to...as much as I want and need to.

If only I could let go, just a little more...

AS I understand and am with you on this. Growing up Catholic and marrying a Pentacostal .. I was very confused. Still am. I still dont know who or what faith is telling the truth.

This is what God spoke to my heart....I know It applys to every person here...just thought I'd share it.
Last night after I prayed I laid down and said "Lord I need to hear from You, You are my only hope, I am so desperate to hear from You. He spoke to my heart as only a loving Father can He gave my words of encouragement and rebuke.

You know that I created you....and before time began I knew you. I hand picked you, for My pleasure. I formed you and brought you into being. I have guarded you and watched over you everyday of your life.
The words that have been spoken by you and others conserning you, they are blasphmy! Thay are NOT what I said you are.
I said whom the Son sets free is free indeed, I said there is NOW no condemnation or guilt for those who are in Christ. I have called you blameless and guilt free in my sight....NOT because of who you are, but because of what I did for you. I wanted a family, so by blood I brought you in.... you are my child....my daughter, stop running away from home, allow me to see your brokeness, that I may mend it.
I am giving you a choice, as I always have, choose this day who you will believe....Darkness comes disguised as light, but I have given you eyes to see. My children know my voce and the voice of the stranger they shall not follow. choose life.

I can't quote the Bible but I do know that God is alive and is in my heart. The truth is in the Bible. Seek and ye shall find.

Beth the only thing I know of the catholic faith is what I was told by a catholic lady I once knew. She told me I was going to hell because I didn't go to confession. I simply told her I don't have to confess to a priest but to God himself. I know you must be confused being raised catholic and marrying a pentecostel lol that is quite a combo lol.

Always was the first part of that from the book of Matthew? For some reason I recognize that .. I think when I started some therapy at my church a priest had given me that passage. I had lost it and never really found out for sure where it came from.

Look out your window and see the sun/ moon the birds , the grass and know as they were created so were we ..

I can give you encouragement but it takes you to accept the encouragement .. The first step is believing and having faith in the Lord
