When you are talking about assumptions (not a falsifiable hypothesis and proven theory in the scientific meaning of the word) then there is no argument with science. Many people value other dimensions in life other than materials, but not all of them need something metaphysical to activate them.

Not sure what that is meant to mean? Materialism is Not science. It's in fact a very poor metaphysics/philosophy.

I follow science and the scientific method. I don't know about the philosophies you are talking about.

If people want to engage in a philosophy of science - which is the way things have been going (again) - then it would be prudent to have some knowledge of the area -

I am not a big fan of philosophy in general, but I think the principles of science are simple and don't need philosophy. The implications of science to me is not science. I am mainly concerned about science and its method.
